This year marks the tours tenth anniversary and Honda is making it the best ever! The first headlining act way back in the day was blink-182 (your truly was THERE!) and to celebrate the 10th season of rocking the nation they are back to rock the Honda Tour once again! In addition, Honda has scored huge with another group that's sure to set the summer night on fire with blazing jams; My Chemical Romance! Supporting acts for the anniversary tour will include bands such as Manchester Orchestra, Rancid and Matt & Kim plus others to be announced. Since 2001, the Honda Civic Tour has provided over two million fans with an exclusive, interactive concert experience featuring up-close and personal access to their favorite bands, including Paramore, The Black Eyed Peas, Fall Out Boy, Everclear, Incubus, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional, Maroon 5 and Panic at the Disco. This summer's tour is expected to play to another 500,000 fans in total. "With the tenth anniversary of the Civic tour and the launch of the all-new ninth generation Civic, the timing couldn't have been better to bring back one of the biggest bands from tours past," said Tom Peyton, Honda brand manager for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "This year's lineup of blink-182 and My Chemical Romance is fun, exciting, hard-rocking and energetic - everything the Civic Tour has stood for over the past 10 years." "We know our talented fans will show off their skills and submit some great Civic-inspired tunes onto our Facebook page." As we get older and families grow our appreciation for vans as primary vehicles also grows. While we may have once scoffed at the notion of driving a van daily as we flipped the pages of the latest edition of Car & Driver we know find it pretty cool that one of our favorite car mags also reviews our reality rides as well as our dream rides. In last months Car & Driver there was a van showdown as a matter of fact, and you'll probably find it quite easy to guess who won! Mixed in amoung glowing comments about the incredible use of space, amazing features and world class leading safety was OUR favorite comment; "the Odyssey wins the 0-to-60-mph and quarter-mile sprints, with results of 7.3 and 15.6 seconds, respectively"... Yes we may drive the family around in a van but we still wanna know what she'll do on the dragstip no matter what we drive! Read the full comparason here and see the fastest van on the market (that also has lots of cool features and will keep the family safe!) here at DCH Gardena Honda today!

We at DCH Gardena Honda still keep those in Japan in our hearts and our prayers as they attempt to begin the rebuilding process of a country, its people and industries. Although the events of recent have put many doubts as to production and even release of coming models there may be signs of encouragement as more rumors and hints are dropped by well sourced folks that all is not beyond hope. For instance many worried that the often whispered of replacement to the awesome NSX might never see the light of day now but its future continues to be assured although only 'off the record' and now we are hearing even more. We have heard about a replacement of the very much missed RSX coupe for some time however without official confirmation we havent written about it, until now! Now Motor Trend Magazine isnt quite as 'official' as direct word from Honda but we figure they ARE pretty darn legit so we feel pretty good talking about it! In a post from just a couple of days ago Motor Trend reports that Honda's plan to release three new sports cars in the next few years. One of which is reported to be a vehicle to take the place of the RSX in the Acura line, borrowing the new 2.4 high output 4 cylinder rocket engine from the Civic Si and mating it to a 6 speed manual will be sure to raise the pulse of any Honda fan! Fitted with specially tuned sports suspension, the new RSX will also employ an interior inspired by the current Civic Type R and an exterior in a sharp, wedge shape the next generation RSX is sure to be a hit from the moment its wheels touch ground! Read more here, and to see the new Civic that has inspired the return of the coupe to our sister company lineup stop in today to DCH Gardena Honda!
